Aquatic’s recognised unsung heroes at national awards
A host of talented swimmers, volunteers and aquatic
professionals were recognised by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA)
at their
inaugural Awards ceremony in Birmingham.
Split into eighteen categories the Awards celebrated the
commitment and achievement of those involved in aquatics in the UK.

There were so many
amazing swimmers of all ages here today
, everyone with amazing stories to tell, but perhaps our favorite was John Harrison..
John is Britain's oldest swimmer 100 years
young, and has been swimming for 93 years..!!!
and shows no sign of stopping, in fact
john is still making a splash , having early this year set with SIX world records when he was 99..
