Summer Break...

Big Ricks Offical Channel Navigation Chart..!! 
Its shows we swam somewhere between 35  to 40 miles on the day
 due to the strong tides,currents and water swells. 
so guess finishing in just over 11hrs was not a bad effort after all..;-))

Its summer Break time for Ricks Team...even though there are still many swims going on around the country, we just need a break from swimming to re-charge the batteries for new exciting challenges to come in the future..

The Channel...Raw and Uncut

We Decided instead of showing just a normal champagne  and roses look at a channel swim like we did in July,s blog,  We would also try to give you a real feeling as to what it was like on the day...So this is a Raw and Uncut  series of videos  to show everyone the real  channel experience of  6 old and slightly chubby  guys from the  west midlands  attempt to swim the English Channel on July 20th 2011 .we hope you enjoy...( We have to warn you there is the odd swear Word..sorry,To Play the Videos just click the Arrow )
