Fabulous  morning at the swan ,
off course we did some open water swimming and some mountain biking ..
but today was mainly lots of  practicing different life saving rescue scenarios ..
with The Birmingham lifeguards team..

The Birmingham lifeguards  marshal Triathlons  ,open water  swims and 

 ultra distance  events throughout  year .!!

Swan Pool Water Polo Match 2014

Swan Pool open Water Polo match 2014

Certainly  the most bizarre And coldest water polo match I’ve ever played  .!!

Yesterday  morning was   The annual Swan Pool water polo match...

It was a very misty and fresh Sunday morning for the match..  

The  water temp around  10 degrees ,with the air temp extremely   chilly 1 degree  .!!!!! . 

The match , lasted around 50 minutes  ,  if was a little different  to a normal game , with the lifeguards  on hand being called in twice,

Once for swallowing to much water incident  ( after a Ray ducking  ) and second for an mild asthma  attack ...!  

But everyone  was safe and sound after..  

 Great mornings  fun , in  great company . ( 12/10/14)
