3 Hours Swim At The Quarry .!!

81 DAYS TO GO.........

its Big Ricks 10th anniversary year

and Mel.Paul.Rayn.Ross.Charlie.Stuart
are planing to doing our biggest team swim EVER

It September the team are attempting to be the 1st team ever from Great Britain to swim four ways across the English Channel .

British Heart Foundation

The swim this year in aid of supporting the British Heart Foundation,

a charity really close to the foundation of the team, plus the Marine Conservation Society who are fighting the good fight against plastics

choking up our oceans. All funds raised will be

donated and split 50/50 between both charities.

and yes we did say Four Ways...

1st way England to France

2nd way France to England

3rd Way England to France

4th Way France to England ..

well over 100 miles continuous swimming , taking we think

in the region of 45 to 50 hours to complete

Ricks Return To A Chilly Dosthill Quarry

87 DAYS TO GO...Until

RICKS Four Way English Channel Relay

Ricks back at Dosthill Quarry
Chasing the Cold Water to Train.
Basher , Baby , Jelly and Cyril

Is been Two Years .
but because Cliff Lakes in just to warm to swim
at 20+ , we have come back to Dosthill Quarry .
where the water is 13 degrees at best .

The Plan today ..
double dip..
2 swims around 45 to 50 minutes each
with 45 rest in between

looks inviting at 7am on a Saturday morning !

it has to be said the swim route is not the best ,
but its the cold water we are after ,
so we just have to make do with it .
in between sea swim
