Bits & Pieces..


A Few Bits & Pieces..
of Ricks swimmers and friends adventures
over the last few weeks.!  
   
Our great friend Anji from swan pool 
swam Windermere end to end last week!
all 10.5 miles of it , in 17 degree with 
Anji looking a bit nervous before the off..! 
Anji soon lost all her nerves once in the water
swimming great  in the first hour of the 
swim   
lunch time feed stop  .!
not far to go now.!! 
Anji completed Windermere In a fantastic 8 hours 31 minutes... 
 congratulations from us all Anji...top effort

Enduroman

ENDUROMAN ARCH TO ARC
The challenge that connects two of the world's most beautiful cites
 by running, swimming and cycling.

 Mr Paul Parrish you are Enduroman No.20
Run 21h55m from London to Dover (T1 18h05m)
Swim 17h25m the English channel (T2 6h35m )
cycle 20h44m from Calais to Paris .
total time 84h44m

 The start of his amazing adventure . Just the 87 miles to run, the channel to swim and 180 mile bike to Paris!

Paul then. Swam The English channel in 17h25m 
all 22 miles of it 


he made it...... you are a channel swimmer 
an amazing achievement in itself ,but after running  87 miles before,
 it’s amazing , now its bike time..!

Deja vu - now at Wissant - 
exactly level with where paul landed from the swim at 5.30 this morning.! . 
he Cannot believe he's actually done that and now fresh as a daisy on his bike 

paul then ,  cycled the 187 miles from from Calais to Paris
but why..??? Paul undertook the Arch to Arc triathlon to help The Aspire Charity to help others who have spinal cord injures to have better of lives ... what a man.!!

HE DID IT! Paul Parrish just became the oldest person to complete the Arch to Arc challenge in the 6th fastest time ever! 84 hours 44 minutes. 
He’s also only the 20th person ever to do it since it began in 2001
