An awesome weekend of sea swimming with the Durley crew.

Oldrey and Jon Tribbeck who crewed
the beach this weekend and looked
after us.
And massive thanks to Marcus and Sofia who cooked for us on Saturday too
Huge congratulations also to Rick's Mel 'Madge' Holland
who
swam an incredible 8 and half hours over the 2 days
and to Ryan , Ross , Stuart & Charlie for doing 5hrs

of training swims with Durley Sea Swims team on Sunday

its Big Ricks 10th anniversary year
and Mel.Paul.Rayn.Ross.Charlie.Stuart
are planing to doing our biggest team swim EVER
It September the team are attempting to be the 1st team ever from Great Britain to swim four ways across the English Channel .
 
The swim this year in aid of supporting the British Heart Foundation,
a charity really close to the foundation of the team, plus the Marine Conservation Society who are fighting the good fight against plastics
choking up our oceans. All funds raised will be
donated and split 50/50 between both charities.

3rd Way England to France
4th Way France to England ..
well over 100 miles continuous swimming , taking we think
in the region of 45 to 50 hours to complete
If you have any pennies spare that you can donate,
it will make a real difference. Plus any support will give the team a boost
